Operate email campaigns that cause IP blacklisting

3. Network Misuse

Participate in DDoS attacks
Port scanning, brute‑force attacks, packet sniffing
Running IRC services, command‑and‑control bots, or malware

4. Unauthorized Hosting Uses

Operate proxy servers, VPN services, anonymizers
Crypto mining or automated scraping
Use hosting purely for file storage, backups, videos, or archives
Host large media libraries unrelated to a public website
Use hosting as a personal cloud drive or storage locker

5. Excessive Cron Jobs / Automation

Running cron jobs more often than every 5 minutes
Running automation scripts that constantly ping outside APIs

 

C. Security Requirements
To protect our platform and customers, you must:

Keep all CMS software (e.g., WordPress) updated
Maintain updated themes, plugins, and scripts
Remove unsupported, vulnerable, or hacked software
Secure your account with strong passwords and proper access control
Fix hacked sites promptly when notified
Not upload malware, viruses, or malicious scripts

If your website becomes compromised, we may temporarily suspend it to protect the server.

 

D. Backups & Data Responsibility
While ibusinesshosting.com may offer backup features:

You are fully responsible for backing up your own data.
We do not guarantee the preservation of your data.
We are not liable for data loss due to customer actions, attacks, or software issues.

Always maintain an off‑server backup of your website.

 

E. Bandwidth & Fair Use
Our services are designed for hosting publicly accessible websites.
You may not:

Use bandwidth for large‑scale storage, video hosting, or download repositories
Run streaming servers or high‑bandwidth applications
Abuse “unlimited” hosting by storing non‑website files

If bandwidth usage threatens system performance, restrictions may be applied.

 

F. Enforcement
Violation of this AUP may, at our sole discretion, result in:

Warning or request for corrective action
Temporary service suspension
Immediate termination of services without refund
Removal of content without notice
Reporting of illegal activity to authorities

We reserve the right to decide what constitutes a violation.
